Learning objectives:
To know and be able to understand the Hotel Management area, and be on the cutting edge in some Hotel Management domains; know how to apply the acquired knowledge in order to display a professional approach to the work developed in this vocational area; ability to solve problems in this area, as well as create and support arguments; ability to gather, select and interpret relevant information, particularly in the study area, enabling the student to support the proffered solutions and reasoning, including in this analysis the relevant social, scientific and ethical aspects; skills which will enable the student to communicate information, problems and solutions, to a specialist and non-specialist audience; learning skills which will allow them to learn autonomously.

Methodologies:
The course of study aims to develop students' skills systemic academic, operational and instrumental to the exercise of a profession in the field of hospitality. The objectives of the course are operationalized through lecionação of practical classes, laboratory and on-the-job, in companies or organizations with a strong instrumental.
At the end of the course the student should be able to autonomously being able to participate and develop their activity particularly in the organization, development, management of operations, processes quality and entrepreneurship in companies and organizations which will be integrated with your account or on behalf of others.
Skills are assessed according to the evaluation of employers, according to the feedback from the students and graduates, as well as assessing the course.
Output profile: Graduates capable of integration, adaptation and functioning hotel and restaurant businesses.
